Upon graduating from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance in 1988, Scott C. Fanatico enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served for five years and advanced to the rank of captain. Among his myriad tasks and accomplishments in the military, he undertook the exhilarating challenge of developing a testing a new battle tank; in the process, he oversaw the rigorous testing of five of the 10 existing vehicles, contributing significantly to the growth of this cutting-edge technology, over the course of a year. This experience has stood as one of his most thrilling and impactful endeavors in his professional life.

In addition to several once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, Mr. Fanatico bolstered his education further during this time by completing coursework in military and strategic leadership, as well as advanced finance, payroll, and accounting—building a strong foundation for his ultimate decades-long career in finance.

Mr. Fanatico launched his post-Army career as director of the SEI Adviser Network in 1993. He was active in this capacity for 10 years before becoming director of the SEI Wealth Network and then SEI Investments between 2004 and 2016. Wielding expertise in wealth management, retirement planning, fiduciary investment policy, and tax planning and management, he also found success+ for many years as a recurring financial market commentator on a local television station, providing noontime financial markets Q&A commentary.

Having long harbored a desire to run his own business, utilizing his numerous connections in the financial services industry, Mr. Fanatico launched The Financial Services Center in 2016. For a decade now, he has helped to provide his clients with customized financial and wealth management advice and services, helping them to reach their individual goals and establish a legacy for their families and communities.

Looking toward the future, Mr. Fanatico is focused on transitioning to a business model that enables employees to generate wealth while delivering exceptional service to clients. His goal for the next five years is to continue growing a highly successful and profitable business, with current team members advancing into ownership roles within the company. Outside of work, he cherishes time spent with his family, including his wife, Tricia, their four children, and three grandchildren.
